Team USA 2nd Tryouts

The 14th World Kendo Championships will be held in 2009 in Brazil. The second round of eliminations to select Team USA was held 3/2/08.

Kenshi selected to the final stage must attend four Team USA Training Camps (gasshuku). Saturday will be devoted to 4 hours of rigorous, intensive conditioning, and Sunday will consist of shiai against each fellow Team USA prospective kenshi. The gasshuku will be held March 15-16, April 5-6, May 17-18, and May 31-June 1, Final Team USA selection will occur June 1, 2008.
